Boettcher Mansion was the great setting for this beautiful wedding. The bride’s bouquet was a mix of hydrangea, spray roses, lisianthus, freesia, delphinium, and seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus.

One of the “buckets” of naturally arranged flowers for the alter.

The centerpieces were wrapped in birch bark. Everything about this wedding fit the bride and groom as well as their fabulous Colorado location. Thank you for sharing this great day with me and I can’t wait to include the photographer’s pics soon.

Brittany & Will’s reception was at the Omni Interlocken. The tall centerpieces were filled with curly willow and a coloraful arrangement of gerbera daisies, spider mums, stock and lilies.

Brittany’s mom, Cassie, found these wonderful bud vase/placecard holders from The Funky Shack. They added just the fun finishing touch to the tables.
There were many more great flowers – I was just too focused on making it all just right that I didn’t get many pictures. I can’t wait until the photographers pics are ready. More to come from this great wedding. It was such a pleasure working with Brittany and Cassie. This wedding was loaded with fun and not a detail forgotten. Thank you!

With the summer wedding season upon us and finally some warm weather to go with it, what can you do to keep your flowers looking fresh and not parched? If your bouquets are in bouquet holders there will be moisture from the foam. But, many use the more natural hand-tied look. Keep them in water and out of direct sun as long as possible. Have a vase of water at your reception to put your bouquet in when you are done with photos. Choose flowers that hold up well in our hot Colorado weather such as orchids, roses, and calla lilies.

It was great meeting so many wonderful people at the Boulder Wedding Showcase. Here are some of the flowers that I had at my table.
